This advanced mediation model provides an invaluable opportunity for clients to be supported through the process by their legal representatives.
Legally guided mediation retains all existing fundamental principles of family mediation, but parties’ lawyers, have a more direct and constructive role in the process.
Your legal representative will then attend the mediation appointment with you, to provide ‘on hand’ legal advice, helping you to consider your options and alternatives before being able to reach lasting agreements.
Legally guided mediation usually takes place over the course of one day, with all parties and their legal representatives present. Our expert mediators have a background in family law, as well as a wealth of experience practising this model of mediation in the UK and internationally, making us uniquely placed to help clients navigate towards successful outcomes.
In our experience, preparing for mediation in this way and having legal guidance, gives clients the best possible chance of resolving their issues and moving on in a relatively short space of time, as compared with court proceedings, making legally guided mediation the preferred choice for our clients.
